Student Zone
Some Things to know.
  • There are three new teachers, Ms. Horgan in first year, Ms. Halligan in second year and Ms. Bastable in Home Economics.
  • Students are getting ready for exams and starting their projects.
  • The school choir is now on a Monday afternoon.
  • Under 15 sports activities are on Wednesdays instead of Mondays.
Soccer Updates:
  • Munster Trials 16th January
  • Munster U15 Indoors 18th January
  • All Ireland Indoors 23rd January
Names of players chosen are on the gym door.
Update of Events:
    • Food Dudes is starting on the week of February the 19th.
    • A big thank you to the workers at Ernst and Young who came to help us do some jobs round the school.
    • Indoor Soccer Limerick: We won the B competition and came runner up in the A Competition. Well done.
    • Christmas Raffle- Winning ticket sold by Conor Meehan for the second year in a row.

    Class 1K Assembly news

    Every student talked about their favourite subject in Scoil Bernadette. The most popular subjects chosen were Woodwork, Science, Home Economics and Art.

    Football was also mentioned by a few and the trips to Tralee and Port Laoise for the football.
    John Spillane visited our school to rehearse and sing with the choir at the Cope Foundation anniversary concert.
    The winner of Scoil Bernadette X Factor 2018 practising at assembly last September. Well, his hard work really paid off!

    • Everyone has to wear our uniform or school tracksuit for PE.
    • School tracksuits will have each student's initials on the sleeve.
    • Leave coke and fizzy drinks at home.
    • Leave crisps at home too.
    • Never bring in chewing gum
